  • Alex has a broad range of experience in the field of Physiotherapy and also gained a degree in Sports Science prior to qualifying.
He is a friendly, dynamic clinician who has worked with a broad background of clinical settings including the NHS, private clinics, the British Army and also in Professional sport (He is the Lead Physiotherapist at Surrey County Cricket Club). This ensures that he has a broad range of skills and vast experience working with patients from lots of different backgrounds.
While he is highly skilled in working with patients who have had long- term problems, his specialism is working with the active patient who wants to get back to, or continue with, their chosen active interests.
He is skilled in exercise therapy and its prescription, working towards both short and long-term goals. Alongside this he is very much a hands-on clinician, utilising different types of mobilisation and soft tissue techniques to help improve movement and reduce pain. Further to this, he is very interested in the mechanics of the human body and is also a qualified acupuncturist.

Alex’s own interests include sport and exercise (what a surprise!) and he is a keen amateur cricketer and previously was a keen footballer and rugby player.
